This article describes the steps required to configure your Korona account to be able to use the bLoyal Customer-Facing POS Snippet™️ on your Korona POS system(s).
Prerequisites: You will need to be running the Korona-recommended Java version. As of June 2023, this is the Azul 17 JDK FX, (please check with the Korona Support Team for the latest guidance). Below is the link where you can find this Java version. However, you should contact Korona for assistance in getting this installed.
1) Set up the new bLoyal Customer-Facing POS Snippet external system calls.
- Head to the external system calls page:
1.1) Add a new external system call for launching the bLoyal Customer-Facing POS Snippet™️:

- Contact our Support Team for assistance obtaining the following:

2) Edit the existing bLoyal Commit Transaction system call. In the Customer Display URL box add the following URL:
https://{POSSnippetsUrl}.bloyal.io/servicestatus
3) Add the new Customer Facing external system call to the POS profile.
-
- Go to the Settings => POS Profiles page:
-
- Select your POS Profile. Scroll down to the External System Calls and add the new bLoyal External calls in the specific Orders shown below.
4) Complete your Customer Display settings
Suggested to be configured as shown below,
- Feel free to tweak the font settings as desired.
- For Windows based systems: The "On Display 1" should be selected
- For Linux based systems: The "On Display 2" should be selected as there is normally a dedicated second monitor for the customer display, so the 'display 2' indicates this should appear on that dedicated monitor.
5) Add the appropriate Customer Display to your POS Profile
If you have any questions, please contact our Support Team for assistance.
