Commodity Groups to Department and Category Mapping

In the bLoyal integration with Korona, two levels of product categorization are supported: departments and categories. The way a commodity group is mapped to bLoyal is that the top level commodity group in Korona becomes the department in bLoyal Director, and the second level commodity group becomes the category. Here are some examples:

1. If you have a product assigned to a top level commodity group, then it would sync to Director with a department but no category.
2. If you have the product associated with any other lower hierarchy commodity group, then the department will be the top level commodity group and the category assigned to the product will be the second level commodity group.
