This article is to assist you with providing bLoyal with the necessary information to successfully connect your Clover Backoffice with your bLoyal Director account.
Create an Admin-level Login for Configuration Purposes
You'll want to create Admin level login credentials using your bLoyal Project Manager's email address for configuration purposes to your Clover account. Once created, please provide those credentials to your bLoyal Project Manager.
Once the project is complete, feel free to deactivate those credentials if you wish to.
Clover Account ID
NOTE: This step is optional if you provided your bLoyal Project Manager with admin level credentials to your Clover dashboard. If you did not provide those credentials, then you will need to provide this information.
For each store location (or individual Clover account), you will need to provide the Clover Account ID (this is different than the MID). Log into your Clover Web Dashboard.
1. Select merchant name displayed in the top right of the screen and click on Account Settings.
2. Click on the Merchants tab.
The Clover Account ID is below the merchant name in Merchant column (it is different than the MID). You may have multiple Clover accounts, and therefore multiple Clover Account IDs. Please provide your deployment project manager with the Cover Account ID for each merchant account you would like to integrate with bLoyal.
API TOKEN
For each store location (or individual merchant account), you will need to provide an API token to your deployment project manager.
1. To generate this token, log into your Clover Web Dashboard and select your merchant.
2. Navigate to Setup > API Tokens.
3. Give your API Token a name by entering it into the Name field and click Generate Token.
The API Token will appear in the Token column. Please ensure that read/write permissions are enabled for all entities. Repeat this process to generate tokens for each store location (merchant account) that will be integrating with bLoyal.
